Welcoming children under the radar! Iggy Azalea, Scarlett Johansson and more celebs have joined a long list of celebrities with “secret” babies over the years.

The rapper, for her part, denied rumors that she was pregnant for months before confirming her son Onyx’s arrival via Instagram in October 2020.

“I have a son,” the Aussie wrote via Instagram at the time of the little one, whom she shares with ex Playboi Carti. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.”

The “Black Widow” singer went on to write, “I want to make his life private, but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words.”

When an Instagram user commented on Azalea’s weight “gain” five months prior, she clapped back. “Why do I have to be gaining weight because I want to post a few selfies?” she wrote in May 2020. “The obsession with my body you guys have is unhealthy. I posted a picture of my body just last week I HAVE A F–KING SIX PACK. Please get a life. Every image I post does not need to be of my body.”

The following month, she told her Twitter followers to stop paying attention to “random tea pages” speculating about her pregnancy status, noting that she was on social media less because sometimes she “need[ed] a break.”

As for Johansson the actress is the mother of daughter Rose and son Cosmo, born in August 2014 with Romain Dauriac and in August 2021 with Colin Jost, respectively.

The Marriage Story star kept her second pregnancy under wraps, but her husband confirmed the news during a comedy show. “We’re having a baby,” the Saturday Night Live star said. “It’s exciting.”

The following day, Us Weekly confirmed that the little one had arrived. Jost revealed that the infant was a baby boy, writing via Instagram at the time: “OK OK we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much. Privacy would be greatly appreciated. or all inquiries, please contact our publicist [Michael Che]. #wegotawaywithitforalongtime #nokidspolicy #we’regoingtodisneyland.”

The “Come to Me” musician announced in December 2022 that he secretly welcomed baby No. 7, daughter Love, though he not identify the newborn’s mother at the time.

“I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much,” he wrote via Twitter, referring to his mother and his eldest children. “God is the Greatest!”

The Pitch Perfect star revealed via Instagram in November 2022 that she welcomed her first child, a daughter, via surrogate. “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!” Wilson gushed at the time, introducing Royce Lillian to her followers. 

The actors secretly welcomed their first child, a source confirmed to Us in October 2022. “Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy,” the insider said.

The Pretty Little Liars alum and Hart, who wed in 2019, announced in September 2022 that they had quietly welcomed their first child.

The MTV host announced in August 2022 that she and Kaepernick welcomed their first child. “I thought long and hard about sharing our life changing news today. I decided to do so because today is the first day in a few weeks where I stepped out for work with a new life title – MOM!” Diab wrote alongside an Instagram photo of the new parents with their baby boy.

The Cheetah Girls actress announced in August 2022 that she and her husband welcomed a son via surrogate. “We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months. He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything,” she gushed via Instagram, sharing the first photo of baby Ever.

The duo announced that they were expecting their first two daughters, but the former baseball player and the model’s third bundle of joy was kept a secret until the birth announcement in December 2021.

“Congratulations Derek and @hannahbjeter on the birth of your baby girl, River Rose Jeter, born Thursday, Dec. 2,” read a tweet from The Player’s Tribune, a media company Derek founded.

While the actress didn’t announce her second child’s arrival publicly, a source confirmed to Us in July that she welcomed baby No. 2.

Us Weekly confirmed on August 2020 that the American Horror Story alum secretly welcomed her second child with boyfriend Hamish Linklater in June. She once again surprised fans when her Father’s Day 2022 post via Instagram revealed that she gave birth to a third child earlier that year.

In June 2022, Us exclusively confirmed that Katic and Brkljac quietly welcomed their first child. “They had a baby this winter and have been enjoying the time since cocooning as a family,” a rep for the Castle alum revealed at the time.

The Arrow alum and Jean, who share daughter Maverick, reportedly welcomed their second child in May 2022.

The Hallmark stars met while filming 2018’s The Sweetest Heart for the network, but they didn’t confirm their romance until they revealed their surprise baby news in June 2022. “Our hearts are full,” Gonzalo captioned a photo via Instagram of their newborn grabbing both parents’ fingertips, tagging herself and McNally. “Welcome baby M ♥️.”

“Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4,” the songwriter captioned his May 2022 Instagram reveal. The couple previously welcomed daughter Lyra in August 2020.

The low-key couple welcomed their son, Arlo, at the end of 2021. Us confirmed the news in April 2022.

After announcing the surprise arrival of baby No. 2 in December 2021, the country singer’s wife called her secrecy “the best decision [she’s] ever made.” Jae explained, “Soaking in special moments with my daughter and husband without the influence of social media and outside world made this time that much more intimate and unforgettable.”

The actor’s Life & Beth costar Amy Schumer revealed in March 2022 that he and wife Nadine quietly welcomed their first child. “Michael has a baby too,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Is that public knowledge? … I just outed him. I just outed his baby.”

The “Sucker” crooner and the Quantico alum, who wed in December 2018, announced in January 2022 that they had quietly welcomed their first child together. Us later confirmed the pair are proud parents to a baby girl.

The Late Night With Seth Meyers host told his viewers in November 2021 that he and his wife had welcomed “another one” after keeping Ashe’s pregnancy under wraps.

Knox and her husband announced the arrival of their first child, Eureka Muse Knox-Robinson, in October 2021. The Waiting to Be Heard author confirmed the news during an interview with the New York Times, published earlier that day.

The Succession star’s baby boy made his Instagram debut in September 2021, one month after his arrival.

The couple quietly welcomed their first child in 2021, confirming the little one’s arrival that September.

The couple revealed they had welcomed “sweet little Iris” in August 2021, sharing the first photo of their child and throwbacks of VanCamp while she was pregnant.

After the Fargo costars welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, McGregor’s daughter Clara debuted the infant via Instagram on June 27.

“You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones,” the Project Kase founder captioned a June 2021 Instagram photo of the athlete, daughter Olympia and twin infants. While the couple documented Bennett’s first pregnancy on social media in 2020, they kept her younger siblings’ arrivals a secret.

The Suits alum debuted their second daughter via Instagram in June 2021 after keeping the actress’ pregnancy under wraps. “Welcome to the funhouse, Ms. Elliot Rowena Adams,” he wrote. “May your life be as unique and exciting as your arrival.”

In May 2021, the singer showed her daughter for the first time via Instagram after giving birth the previous year. She called the little one her “baby bear.”

The Shameless alum debuted her baby bump in May 2021, announcing that she and her husband had secretly welcomed a baby girl.

Three months after giving birth, the Game of Thrones alum opened up about her daughter for the first time. “It’s the perfect thing to do during a pandemic, is get pregnant and have a baby,” Dormer joked during an April 2021 podcast episode.

Five months after she gave birth to Eduardo, the Living Clearly Method author announced via Instagram that she and the actor had welcomed their sixth child together, his seventh. “7,” Hilaria captioned the March 2021 family photo.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Entienne, in February 2021 amid the actor’s divorce from Jaime King.

The actor told Mr. Porter in January 2021 that he and the English star had secretly welcomed their third child in late 2019.

In September 2020, Donald Glover shared that he and Michelle White had secretly welcomed baby No. 3 amid the coronavirus pandemic. “It was nuts. I was in the hospital bed. My son had just been born, like, an hour before, and I was watching the George Floyd video. It was such a weird moment,” the Atlanta creator told GQ of his third child, Donald. “It was such an intense, weird moment, because I’m watching that video and it’s, like, eight minutes long, so you’re sitting there and I had just had this amazing, joyful, expanding moment, plus my dad had passed away recently, so [my son] was named after my father.”

The actor “buried the lede” when he told Jimmy Fallon on September 14 that he had welcomed a baby.

In March 2020, Chastain went for a walk with a baby carrier strapped to her chest, sparking rumors that she and her husband had secretly welcomed their second child.

Us Weekly confirmed in February 2020 that the Lord of the Rings star and the Danish producer had quietly welcomed their first child.

The singer announced his third child’s January 2020 arrival the following month with an Instagram post captioned, “My sunshine.” Iglesias and Kournikova had kept the former athlete’s pregnancy under wraps.

The Office alum debuted her second son four weeks after his birth. “Happy 1-Month Birthday to our baby boy, Matthew!” the actress captioned an Instagram post in October 2019. “He has inherited his dad’s brown hair and his mom’s desire to be carried around all day in a baby sling.”

The Million Dollar Listing New York star introduced his daughter, Leela, in September 2019, six months after her birth.

In September 2019, the It actor announced that he had an 11-month-old daughter whose nursery was filled with Pennywise the Clown toys.

The singer and his wife welcomed their daughter, Ramona Rae, in June 2019 and introduced her to their Instagram followers the following month. “Still debating on her nick name being Mona or Romy, what do you think?!” Lewis asked at the time.

Hours after posting a black-and-white photo holding a baby’s foot in May 2019, the rapper shared a sweet shot of his little one sleeping. “My son Noah. We are blessed and overjoyed. Peace,” he wrote. Prior to Songz’s Instagram announcement, he was not romantically linked to anyone.

The Shahs of Sunset alum revealed that she had welcomed a baby boy nearly two months after his birth. “On February 23, 2019 my little miracle Boy was born,” the former reality star wrote on Instagram in April. “I decided to keep my pregnancy off of social media and enjoy the time without the opinions and comments of others. I contemplated never posting about it and carrying on but IM A MOM, I have a son, a beautiful little miracle who I’ll cherish the rest of my life and to not share this would be not sharing me.”

After the Lady Bird director and the While We’re Young writer-director were spotted walking with a baby stroller in Manhattan in March 2019, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair had welcomed their first child. A source told Us exclusively that the little one is a boy. 

The Big Little Lies actress and the country star kept mum on the surrogate process that brought them their second child, daughter Faith Margaret, in 2010.
