Too Cute! Celeb Kids Meeting Their Siblings for the 1st Time: Photos

Becoming big brothers and sisters. As celebrity parents have proven over the years, few things in the world are cuter than kids being introduced to their baby siblings for the first time.

After welcoming daughter Lucy in April 2022, Andy Cohen shared an adorable photo of the little one meeting her big brother, Ben, days after her arrival. “When Ben met Lucy ♥️,” the Bravo exec wrote via Instagram alongside a sweet snap of the toddler giving his new sister a kiss on the cheek.

The Superficial author welcomed Ben via surrogate in February 2019. He later told Us Weekly that he would let any of the Real Housewives babysit the tot. “I think they’re all smart enough to know that if they messed up, it would not go well for them,” he joked in August 2020. “They’re all moms and they’re all good moms.”

While Ben and Lucy’s relationship was seemingly love at first sight, other celeb siblings have some difficulty getting along at first. After Kim Kardashian and ex-husband Kanye West welcomed son Saint in December 2015, the Skims founder revealed that big sister North (born in June 2013) wasn’t a huge fan.

“I don’t know if it’s because she’s the older sister. I don’t know what it is,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum said during an August 2017 appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan. “I thought it was a phase. She does not like her brother, and it’s so hard for me. She would get so jealous when I would breast-feed and all that kind of stuff. And now, the phase isn’t going away.”

Two months later, however, the Selfish author reported that tension between the siblings had eased somewhat. “She needs to still get it together and warm up and be a little bit nicer, but I think she’s getting there,” Kardashian said during an October 2017 video on her website. “I saw glimmers of hope a week ago. She’s not harmful, she’s not hurting him or anything. She just doesn’t want boys in her room.”

Three years — and two more siblings — later, North and Saint finally reached a détente. “They get along now,” the Hulu personality wrote via Instagram in January 2020 alongside several photos of the pair smiling and laughing with each other. (Kardashian and West welcomed daughter Chicago and son Psalm in January 2018 and May 2019, respectively, before splitting in February 2021.)

Teigen and the “All of Me” crooner welcomed their rainbow baby, daughter Esti Maxine, in January 2023. 

“Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love,” the Cravings founder gushed via Instagram, sharing a photo of her eldest children meeting their baby sister.

The Kansas City Chiefs football player and his wife welcomed their son, Bronze, in November 2022. Shortly after his arrival, big sister Sterling was excited to meet him. “Truly been the best big sissy,” Matthews gushed via Instagram Story that December.

The Bachelor alum and her husband, country singer Chris Lane, shared a heartfelt video via Instagram in October 2022 of their son Dutton meeting his little brother for the first time. The toddler giggled excitedly when his dad put him in Bushnell Lane’s arms, next to the newborn.

“I’m gonna kiss her,” the Wizards of Waverly Place alum’s eldest daughter, Pia, gushed in a July 2022 TikTok video ahead of meeting her baby sister, Gemma. “I love her!”

The Pretty Little Liars alum and her partner, Matte Babel, welcomed daughter Atlas in October 2019. After daughter Rome arrived in May 2022, the former You star told E! News that Atlas was “already loving being an older sister.”

The Younger alum and ex-husband Mike Comrie welcomed son Luca in March 2012. The former Disney star also shares daughters Banks (born in October 2018) and Mae (born in March 2021) with husband Matthew Koma. In May 2022, Duff revealed that Luca and Banks got to meet their little sister almost as soon as she was born. “Mae got out so fast they managed to get in when their little sister was already in my arms,” she told Grazia. “It was a very sweet moment. Luca then came to sit next to me and Mae and said, ‘Mom, we should sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her. It’s her birthday.’”

In July 2021, the Counting On alum’s three eldest kids with husband Ben Seewald met their newest sister, Fern, who was born that month.

The Grammy winner and her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, share sons Titan (born in November 2014) and Noah (born in January 2021). “My hearts joy……my boys❤️❤️,” the singer wrote via Instagram in June 2021 alongside a video of Titan giving his little brother a bottle.

After welcoming daughter Maybellene in December 2020, the Hanson member’s wife, Natalie Hanson, shared an adorable Instagram video of the baby meeting her older brother Indy, who was born in December 2018. (The couple also share Ezra, Penelope, River, Viggo and Wilhelmina.)

After North and Saint’s rocky start, the siblings began getting along better with each other and their younger brother and sister. “You don’t even understand how many lollipop bribes this pic cost me … but it was so worth [it],” Kardashian jokingly captioned a May 2018 Instagram photo of herself with her three eldest kids.

“I can’t handle it,” the Hills alum wrote via Instagram in October 2014 alongside a photo of her eldest son, Camden, holding hands with his little brother, Jaxon, a few months after his birth. The Uncommon James founder and ex Jay Cutler also share daughter Saylor, who was born in November 2015.
