Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have parted ways after three years together.
According to TMZ, who was first to report the news, the couple had been separated since January 2023. People also reported that the pair went their separate ways earlier this year.
Prior to their split, they attempted to reconcile without success. TMZ, People and Entertainment Tonight reported that Grande and Gomez remain friends, and talk regularly over the phone.
The duo reportedly started dating in early 2020, but didn’t choose to make anything public until May, and were happily sharing the news of their engagement by December.
Grande announced that she was engaged to Gomez on Dec. 20 with a series of snapshots, including a look at her ring. They tied the knot just five months later, in May 2021.
“Forever n then some,” she captioned the lovebirds’ photo gallery. But “forever” was not to be. The star filed for divorce on Sept. 18, 2023.

February 2020 – Ari and Dalton were seen kissing at a bar
After her brother Frankie Grande clarified that Ariana is not dating Social House’s Mikey Foster, TMZ shared a video of the pop star making out with a “mystery man” (who turned out to be Gomez) at Bar Louie in Northridge, California.

May 2020 – “Stuck with U” music video
When Ari teamed up with Justin Bieber for their quarantine love song, they shared a heartwarming video featuring celebrities and fans enjoying time with their loved ones in lockdown.
Around the three-and-a-half minute mark, Gomez (with his face cropped out) is seen swaying back and forth before Grande comes running in for a hug and kiss.

June 2020 – Instagram official?
When sharing that she’s “almost 27” on Instagram, the “Positions” singer slyly added a cuddly, smiley selfie with Gomez amid a series of snaps. Though she didn’t tag him in the photo, it was the first time fans got a proper glimpse at Grande’s new love.

August 2020 – Birthday message for Gomez
Grande celebrated her boyfriend’s birthday on Aug. 7 with a series of adorable videos and photos of the duo. “hbd to my baby my best friend my fav part of all the days 🙂 i love u,” she captioned the post.

December 2020 – “life stuff”
The pop singer hopped on the Instagram photo dump train following the release of her Positions album, giving fans a glimpse into what she’s been up to lately. The photos included a moon, a look into her twinkling Christmas decorations, a snap of Toulouse, a hilarious video of Grande’s Nonna and, of course a photo of Grande and Gomez sharing a kiss.

December 2020 – She said yes!
Grande surprised fans with some much-needed good news on Dec. 20 when she shared photos of her sparkling engagement ring. “forever n then some,” she said of her new fiancé.

May 2020 — She said “I do”!
Five months after getting engaged, Grande and Gomez exchanged their “I do’s.” The singer’s rep confirmed that the couple married in an intimate ceremony attended by 20 people. “The room was so happy and full of love,” her rep told People. “The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”

A week and a half after her private ceremony, Grande shared romantic photos of her big day on Instagram, and revealed that the newlyweds exchanged vows on May 15.

February 2022 — Valentine’s Date Night
In the romantic Valentine’s Day snap, the two-time Grammy winner wore a sleek black dress, matching stilettos and her signature ponytail while Gomez — in a stylish gray suit — looks down adoringly at her, one arm around her waist. In the next slide is the video clip, which shows the pair sharing a sweet smooch as a camera flash goes off.

The singer and the 27-year-old luxury real estate broker split after three years together, as reported by TMZ, who was first to share the news.
